UPDATE: He had it painted when I was there in August but I did not have my camera with me. I'll take some pix of it in April when I go back. It should be finished by then!!
While I was in Italy, in December 2004, my friend Savario asked me to help him "tear down" his VBB for restoration.
I got to his house around 2:00PM. An hour, and a couple of Sambucas, later we were finished!
We also pulled and took apart the front fork.
It should be done by the time I go back in August, so I will post the “after” pictures then.
